Situated on the shores of Lac de Villerest, a 770-hectare natural setting stretching over 32 kilometers, this is the perfect place for a multitude of water sports activities. You can enjoy a refreshing swim, explore the calm waters by canoe or paddle, or go sport fishing for carp, zander, pike and catfish. Sailing enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to embark on sailboats or motorboats, with free mooring specially reserved for campers.

The Arpheuilles campsite offers a wide variety ofaccommodation to suit all tastes. You can choose from 62 spacious, shaded bare pitches, perfect for tents and caravans. For optimum comfort, 15 fully-equipped mobile homes are at your disposal, as well as 8 chalets, one of which is specially designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. For a unique glamping experience, the campsite also offers 10 lodge tents, combining nature and comfort.

From the campsite, explore over 6,000 kilometers of marked trails on foot, bike or mountain bike.
The beauty of the surrounding countryside, between lush green countryside and the banks of the river, invites you to relax and recharge your batteries.
The region is full of wonders, from the vineyards of the Côtes Roannaises and Forez regions, to castles, churches and priories steeped in history, to local specialties such as the famous Fourme de Montbrison and regional wines. Gastronomy fans will be delighted by the local produce available at markets and farms in the area, offering an authentic immersion in the region’s culinary wealth.
Cousinades & group events in a friendly natural setting
The Arpheuilles campsite is the ideal place to organize your cousinades, group meetings, association events or corporate seminars. Enjoy a natural setting, comfortable accommodation and a fully-equipped hall for your gatherings. Numerous activities and services are at your disposal for a convivial and enjoyable stay. Family gatherings, works councils and birthday parties are not possible during high season (JULY/AUGUST). If you are renting a minimum of 7 units, the room is available for communal meals during your stay.
